Admissions for a school place
We admit pupils into our classes, in September, or throughout the school year if transferring from another school or if you have moved into the area.
Schools cannot offer you a place even if you live nearby an application must be made through Derbyshire County Council.
If you would like to apply for a place at out school....
- In the first instance I would warmly welcome you to come and look around, with your child, to see if our setting meets the needs of your child.
- If you would like to apply for a place please apply to the admisisons department at Derbyshire County Council. Please ring 01629 537499 for any support or information regarding the process of an application.
- To apply on line and to read a guide for parents visit www.derbyshire.gov.uk/admissions
Sometimes applications are unsuccessful. this is because the school has reached its capacity for number of pupils allowed. our current Pupil Admission Number into any year group is 45.
If your application is unsuccessful - you are given the right to appeal. Appeals may or may not be successful depending on the current movement of pupils within school, eg. if someone else has left, or if there are special circumstances.
