Parent / Carer views
We regularly ask our parents and carers to let us know what they think about our school and welcome feedback about how we can build upon opportunities and improve provision for all our children.
School Governors and staff are extremely proud of the results from the recent Learning Behaviours and Well-Being questionnaire.
91% parents felt that the school’s system of rewarding and praising children is effective, with 94% saying that the school has a good system to reward good behaviour with 91% of pupils liking the Good to be Green system. A big thank you to Miss Riley for an excellent Forest Schools Good to be Green Reward Day at the end of last term.
98% of parent/carer responses believed that their child behaves well in school and 99% think they behave well on the playground and when off school grounds.
Feedback showed that 97% felt that school takes the safety and wellbeing of all pupils seriously and continually reflects and improves practice. 97% felt that the curriculum helped children to make good choices about healthy eating, fitness and developing healthy relationships. 96% felt that our children are taught how to stay safe on line – this is an area of growing concern and has been a focus for staff and pupil training this year.
